Before you use the number

Are the examples average Malta menu prices?

No. Any illustration is a made-up arithmetic example. Enter prices from the cafes, takeaways and restaurants you use, including any service charge or tip you want to budget.

How does the home alternative work?

It is optional. Enter your own total weekly cost to replace the same coffees and meals at home. The result shows the signed difference; the home option can cost more or less.

Why is a month more than four weeks?

The annual projection is weekly spending multiplied by 52. Dividing that by 12 gives an average calendar month of about 4.33 weeks.
