See how much deposit is tied up in the bottles and cans you have not returned.
Eligible BCRS containers only. A refund recovers a deposit you already paid. It is not additional income, and not every container is part of the scheme.

- Deposit still outstanding
- €2.40
What this includes
- The deposit is EUR 0.10 for each eligible BCRS container. A refund recovers money already paid; it is not income or a discount on the drink.
- Count containers that are in the scheme, empty and accepted for return with a readable barcode. Not every bottle or container qualifies.
- Refunds are normally vouchers subject to the return location and redemption conditions. This is refund value, not a promise of a cash payout.
- No VAT is added to the refundable deposit. The drink purchase price is excluded.

Before you use the number
Does every bottle carry a deposit?
No. Count only eligible containers carrying the BCRS mark and a qualifying barcode. Check the official scheme conditions and accepted container categories.
What should I enter as returned?
Count successfully accepted returns from this same group of purchased containers. Containers rejected by a machine have not yet recovered a deposit.
Is an outstanding deposit a permanent loss?
Not necessarily. It remains recoverable if you return eligible containers under the scheme rules. The calculation shows money not yet recovered.
