Before you use the number
Where do I find cubic metres?
Your bill and meter show water consumption in cubic metres, often written as m³. One cubic metre equals 1,000 litres. Enter consumption for the selected period, not the cumulative meter reading.
Which household size should I enter?
Use the number registered on the account for the period being estimated. The lower residential water band depends on registered occupants. This tool does not determine account eligibility.
Can this explain a mixed tariff bill?
No. If occupants, tariff classification or the account changed during a period, the provider may split the bill. Estimate each consistent period separately and confirm the account details with ARMS.
