A short holiday / A connected starting plan
A little island escape.
Two nights usually means three days of spending. Keep those units separate, price the shared parts once, and make room for the little extras.
Build the whole trip first
Start with two people, two nights and three days in one room. Replace the sample room, food, transport and activity amounts with your bookings and plans.
Editable starting example
Weekend for two
Two nights and three days away.
See the exact assumptions
Example: 2 people, 2 nights, 3 days, 1 room at €90/night, €25 food per person/day, €60 shared transport, €40 shared activities, no other costs and 10% contingency.
Food is per person per day. Accommodation is per room per night. Shared transport and activity totals are counted once, not once per traveller.
Add Gozo only if it is in your plan
For a Gozo Channel trip, try two standard adults on foot and one return crossing. Change the categories or vehicle option if your party is different.

Two on foot
Two standard adults, one return crossing.

On foot: 2 standard adults, 1 return trip, standard departure. No concession assumed.
This is Gozo Channel between Ċirkewwa and Mġarr. A return ticket already includes the crossing back. Valletta and other ferry operators have separate fares.
Update the trip and keep the result
Return to your original holiday calculator tab and update the transport amount. If starting again, the link below opens the same editable public example.

The useful bit to keep
One trip. No doubled costs.
- The holiday transport allowance is a shared total. Replace or add a component once as appropriate.
- A contingency is a buffer you choose, not a guarantee that every cost is covered.
- Save the final holiday report after updating your actual bookings. The plan link always shares the public starting point, not your figures.
Keep this starting checklist, or share the public plan. Your calculator results stay in their own tabs. Download those separately once you have entered your figures.
